Exploring NEBourhoods
Summer 2024. What we call NEBourhoods in Neuperlach is finally tangible, though still in the making. It's just the right time for filmmaker Stephanie Maier to set out and discover with people from Neuperlach what new places and opportunities have been created and to talk about them. What do you think of the Schattenbank (shading architecture), the pavilion and the Nisthocker (Nesting Stool)? Do RESI and STEINI fit into the neighbourhood? Who actually takes care of the neighbourhood gardens? And is it still possible to join in? Some things are still a work in progress. At those places, Stephanie Maier meets people and especially creative professionals from the project who spontaneously talk about what they are doing and why they are involved.
All participants have learned from and with each other how urban development as a shared goal can succeed. We celebrated this in autumn at the NEBourhoods Boulevard, which marks the end of the exploration.
