Energy communities Munich: Installation of the first PV elements in Neuperlach
15 November 2025. With the installation of the first system on the roof of the Perlacher Herz in Neuperlach, a key milestone has been reached: the system has been financed by members and the PV modules have been installed. The cables already run from the roof through the building to the basement – the meter installation and connection will follow. So soon we will be saying, ‘We let the sunshine in’ – locally, renewably and communally!
With the system on the Perlacher Herz, we are not only supplying one building with solar power, we are supplying a lively centre full of activities: from a music studio to homework supervision to a second-hand shop. And this is exactly where our vision of a fair and sustainable energy supply begins.
We would like to express our sincere thanks for the trust, the investments and the contribution of each and every one of you. With your commitment and that of our community, we are working together to bring the energy transition to where it matters: our neighbourhood. And we're not stopping there. With everything we learn, we're moving on to the next project, the next neighbourhood, with you as our community behind us.
