Space for Transformation – Rethinking Cities
8 December 2025. Bringing together municipal practice, science and art to find innovative solutions for sustainable urban development: How can we design urban spaces that are sustainable, innovative and aesthetically pleasing at the same time? How can our cities be liveable and sustainable living spaces for everyone? These were the topics discussed at the symposium "Space for Transformation – Rethinking Cities. Dialogue Research and Innovation on Site‘ organised by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR) on 8 December 2025. The event took place as part of the exhibition ’WEtransFORM. On the Future of Building" at the Bundeskunsthalle.
The NEB_NETZWERKBÜRO Saxony-Anhalt, the NEB living lab ZEKIWA Zeitz represented by Forum Rahtenau e.V., the NEB project Bürger- und Energiepark der Lutherstadt Eisleben (Citizens' and Energy Park of Lutherstadt Eisleben) and Creating NEBourhoods Together, represented by the state capital Munich, were invited to participate in the moderated exchange.
